SHIRODHARA
Shirodhara is a purifying and rejuvenating Auyervedic therapy designed to eliminate toxins and mental exhaustion as well as relieve stress and any ill effects on the central nervous system.
shirodhara has been found to be a useful therapy in aiding memory and learning disorders, chronic headaches, anger, insomnia, tension, anxiety, and hypertension. Shirodhara improves vitality and balance while providing nourishment to the body, mind, spirit and emotion of the individual. The process is as follows:

Preparing pure unrefined sesame oil in combination with a special blend of therapeutic grade oils according to your        ayurvedic type. (determined in evaluation)

Shirodhara begins with footwork to ensure proper grounding and to begin the detoxification process.

A continuous flow of the warm oil blend is then drizzled over the forehead for approximately 20 minutes or more to eliminate disease         causing toxins and energetic debris while         replenishing and nourishing the body, mind         and spirit.

Suture lines and energy centers on the head and areas of the neck are worked through massage and touch techniques to release         blocks and increase the flow of energy to the         brain.

Fee: $85.00

This therapy may be utilized occasionally, weekly or monthly.

For cases of severe illness, a series of treatments may be recommended. This can be more fully assessed at time of service.
