RESINS
Resin is incense in its earliest & purest form and is derived from the sap or bark of trees. The aroma from the pure resin, when burned is far more intense than other forms of incense, therefore only a small amount is needed to fill a room with its powerful aromatic properties. Unlike combustible incense powders, sticks or cones, Resin will not burn on its own. It must be burned on charcoal and in a heat resistant burner.
Energy Works Resin pack includes 28 grams Resin (except mastic, packaged at 10 grams) & 5 large size charcoal discs for burning ( may be broken in half) all housed in a refillable aluminum tube.

MASTIC (Pistacia lentiscus L.)100% pure & natural resin. Because of its healing effects Mastic has remained an official part of natural medicine. Laboratory research on Mastic published in the New England Journal of Medicine, December l998 showed that Mastic is antibacterial, killing six bacteria, including staphylococcus. It was also shown to be an anti-fungal, effective against Candida Albicans. Mastic has been used for treating gastrointestinal problems, digestive & dyspeptic disorders, indigestion & peptic ulcers. PINON (Pinus) 100% Pure & natural aged pine resin. Pine has been used for a variety of medicinal purposes. The smoke is said to have antiseptic properties and strengthens the circulatory system. The smoke was also used for treating colds, flu, pneumonia, fever, heartburn, arthritis, neuritis, and kidney problems. Pine resin strengthens the nerves, and gives energy, courage, and emotional strength. Early cultures used it for their "protective" qualities.
