ABOUT DRUMMING
Drum circles are a group activity that enables participants to disengage from mental activity, clear their mind of clutter and stay in the present moment. You could say Drumming is a form of active meditation with many benefits. While there are many traditions and many ways to experiance drum circles, Brenda Kayn has chosen the indigenous tradition in the way of the shaman. Her is what she has to say about Sacred drum circle:

"The core of sacred drum circle is in the understanding of our ancestral roots and our relationship to the Earth, the Sun and the Great Creator. This is the rhythm, the Primal Pulse, the Universal Heartbeat, the true Mother that unites us all.

Where people gather to drum, they gather to heal and facilitate an awakening to a powerful light within. Sacred drumming wakes up something inside, a palpable energy, a life force deep within the cells of our being that releases the memories and a knowing that drumming is good medicine!"

All are welcome to join drum circle every 2nd Friday of the month from 8-10pm at The Center. Come and allow the drum to be your gateway to an extraordinary adventure. Learn to harness the powerful healing capabilities and to transform ordinary reality into a magical experience through the sacred drum.
